This is a movement in English from a projected Mass setting for Holy Communion. It is notated so that the melodic line can be for congregation alone, but there are some 4-part choral sections which can be used when a competent choir is available. It should be noted, however, that the piece is complete in itself in its unison version. The musical style is very accessible - tonal with some mild astringencies in the organ and choral parts to enhance the essentially melodic setting.
