Juan del Encina (Juan de Fermoselle) (1468-1530) was a Spanish composer, poet and playwright. His "Triste Espana" is a somber piece that has been arranged as a dignified and melancholy march for brass. Listen to the MP3 recording by The Brethren Brass for a performance of the '3 horn and tuba' arrangement.
