Most movements are short and self-contained and the styles used are from the complete musical spectrum (classical, Jazz, modern). Each picture describes events from the named month (beginning 1998) and also contains snippets of music that I composed at the time being described. Adelaide is romantic in nature with an epic feel to the main theme. Hints of �Les Etoiles Noirs� (written in August �98) appear in the melody line and in the accompaniment. The romantic mood is broken at the end of the piece hinting that something is on the horizon.
