Note by Stephen Cohn: This piece was composed by my father, who, although he was an attorney by profession, was a devoted and prolific composer. He wrote many compositions for chamber ensembles as well as for piano. Unfortunately, much of his work has been lost. I have recently found a few of his compositions and, as a professional composer myself, feel that the quality of this music requires that it be made available to the public. This work, a 20th century composition with a very personal and sophisticated sense of harmony and melody, was created around the middle of my father's productive period.
