The Four Seasons: Winter - 3rd mvt
The final movement of Winter has a similar problem to the final movement of Spring in the sense that the pedal note has to be broken. However, the repeat of the note needs to be subtle to avoid an obvious "re-sound". The large stretches from letter G may be broken and use of the sostenuto pedal is advisable at bar 34. The concerto ends with a flurry of scales in E flat major until the conclusion in a series of tremolos back in the original key of F minor. I hope you enjoy playing these arrangements as much as I do.
