The idea for this piece came from a day of practice on the trombone and my deep admiration for the music of Chopin, one of the piano’s best virtuosos. The piece integrates dynamic contrast and tender melodies that should cause a soporific effect. It should make you want to sleep, not out of boredom, of course!
(*LISTEN TO THE MP3. The MIDI playback does not do the piece justice. It’s not the best piece ever, but it’s not the worst like the MIDI playback portrays it to be. There are a few glitches in the MP3, but it’s just a aid to portray how the piece sounds on real instruments.*)
