Northern Lights I
Northern Lights was composed after a visit to Northumberland and was inspired by suddenly driving over the brow of a hill in darkness and seeing the whole of the coast alive with lights from the automatic lighthouses at sea and the winding ribbon of the A1 far below in the distance. The piece is in 3 short movements.
