An arrangement for SATB Saxophone Quartet from Gershwin’s famous and much-loved piano preludes (I-III). There are certainly some technical challenges in I and III and players must be quick witted and quick fingered! Prelude II, however, is somewhat easier, but requires a lot from the players in terms of expression, ensemble and colour. Some high notes for soprano but there are optional 8vbs given.
