One of my summer songs, here are some of the verses I wrote down with it:

There's a love song out there,
I didn't really know;
I'd like to keep it in my breast here,
Like a star shining glow.

Everything I go to find,
I'll keep in my heart hidden away;
And there with it I've combined,
All the love I could never say.

There's a love song out there,
Like my little throbbing heart;
All I want is keeping it near,
Not letting it from my closeness depart.

Yesterdays are now in memories,
Like a withered flower bouquet;
Broken into disharmonies,
Which thoughts can only display.

There's a love song out there,
From a summer garden now fading;
I'd like to keep it in my breast here,
For the cold winter is now invading.
In the book 'The Beatles Complete Scores' which is fast becoming the de facto standard,
especially in popular writing, the leading voice line is always at the top staff and the drum
part always at the bottom, everything else is in between. For example the song 'Yesterday'
goes like this, from top to bottom: Vocal/Guitar/Others/Bass/Drums, in most recent scores
I try to follow these standard procedures.

I try to have the instrument names 'General MIDI sound set' and drums follow the 'General MIDI percussion map'
