Time Stands Still
Time Stands Still was composed by John Dowland (1563-1626). I have arranged it for solo celesta, but it may be played on a piano at the written pitch (not one octave higher).
In the first half of the piece I have kept the treble and bass parts of the original and filled in with my own harmonisation. In the second part I have written a fantasy which keeps only vestiges of the original voice part intact.
