I originally wrote an arrangement of Pablo de Sarasate’s Romanza Andaluza, Op. 22, No. 1, for accompaniment by string orchestra for a performance by Jose Soto with the Imperial Valley Symphony in 2002. This was followed by an arrangement for string quartet, and then cello quartet, then a democratic cello quartet (where the solo lines were shared among the four cellists). Now comes the arrangement for solo violin accompanied by guitar.
