Blues Head #1
This piece is comparable to my Ragtime Blues #1 which has obviously more of a ragtime feel (they both have about the same type of ending). This has more of a blues feel, hence the name. There’s a little blues lick in there that might interest some who are learning the blues. I hope to get around to writing some more of these…..so I just put down #1 in each of these cases. Just in case you didn’t know the word "Head" refers to the main melody that’s played at the beginning and then at the end. This term is familiar to all jazz musicians.
