Justus Johann Friedrich Dotzauer was a German cellist and teacher, best known now for his cello studies and - by too few, perhaps - his brilliant Pot-Pourri (Op. 21) for cello and guitar. This latter is a wonderful work, thrilling, tuneful, witty, enchanting. I just love it, and no arrangement can equal the original. But I wanted to share it with a wider reservoir of players, so hope I will be forgiven for re-imagining it here for Flute Choir. Audiences will love it, and so will the flautists. All the notes of the original are there (and in the right order!). I have expanded harmonies and rewritten it for non-chordal instruments. Copy text: 1st edn, n.d. GRADING: much of it 4-6, some of it 7+ (flute 1 only).
