Programme Note: An arrangement as a loose set of variations for strings by Martin Watson of the Basse Dance by Jehan Tabourot. Tabourot composed under the name Thoinot Arbeau (an anagram of his real name), and wrote a study of 16th Century dances called Orchésographie, from which this dance comes.

Which method of viewing music should I use?
