You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.The first movement of Dvorak’s lovely Serenade for Strings, Opus 22, is here arranged for a flute choir of modest proportions: 3 flutes, plus alto and bass. In order to keep to the registers of the original, flutes 2 and 3 need at least one player each with a B-foot, and there is some occasional doubling - though this could possibly be ignored at a pinch without too much detriment to the overall feel of the piece. It’s a wonderful movement, well worth the challenge, for a concert or just for fun. Dvorak wrote it, I loved arranging it, so this first movement is free of charge. Please enjoy it.
