I was asked to write music for my college newsletter's online edition, and one of the articles is about a community service trip to Vietnam undertaken by my schoolmates. Hence, I have chosen this title "Xin Chao" - which means "Hello" in Vietnamese. It isn't exactly true blue Vietnamese folk music, but rather, almost a variety of Asian music styles, with Chinese and Indonesian (gamelan) being the most obvious.
