No.5 of seven Warm-ups for SATB Choir. All except No.6 (which uses a Bach transcripion) present the descending major scale with the English vowel excersise ’moo-moh-mah-meh=mee’ in a 2-bar descending 4/4 sequence as a canto fermo for a particular voice. The other parts provide harmonies or counterpoints. This (No.5 differs in that it changes the voice of the canto fermo every two bars.)
