In this piece I wanted to create a feeling of using music as an escape from the world and getting lost within a piece. I wanted to create a Spanish sound to the piece, and use semiquaver rhythms to create a fast paced feel even though the tempo itself is not overly fast. The piece uses standard techniques for Classical guitar such as rasgueado, where the player uses there finger or thumb (indicated by which way the note stem is pointing on the score) to pluck the strings.
