Cedar Square is a magical place in Santa Cruz. It is home to Kuumbwa Jazz Center. I wrote this piece of music for a amazing band Kenny Carr (Guitar) had at the time: Kenny Wollesen Drums, Donny McCaslin sax and I played bass. We played only tunes we wrote. They were in high school and I was about 21 at the time.
