Grieg’s four Norwegian Dances were originally written for piano duet, but have probably become best known in the orchestral garb given them by Hans Sitt. No. 2 is a perennial favourite.
For my version I worked from the piano original.
A Bb clarinet part is available, but the A part is much to be preferred since it is vastly easier.
