Bach’s Three Part inventions, originally written for the keyboard and masterpieces of counterpoint. The clear three-part writing lends itself to a performance by three different instruments. This delightful and expressive piece is presented here for a trio of two violins and cello. The second violin may be played by a viola and a separate part is available. Phrasing and dynamics are ad lib.
