Caymanian National Song ’’Beloved Isle Cayman’’ for Brass Quintet (World National Anthem Series)
The national song of this British colony is entitled “Beloved Isle Cayman”, arranged here for classical Brass Quintet. The words of the national song were written and put to music by Leila Ross-Shier. An organist in the Presbyterian Church, she had a great love and talent for music. “Beloved Isle Cayman” was composed in 1930 and she sang it for years accompanying herself on the guitar before it was officially adopted as the national song. (As a colony of the United Kingdom, “God Save the Queen” is the official national anthem of the Cayman Islands.)
Cayman’s national song, "Beloved Isle Cayman", was written by the late Mrs. Leila Ross Shier in 1930. Regarded as the unofficial national song for many years, it became the official national song when the Cayman Islands Coat of Arms, Flag and National Song Law was passed in 1993.

Which method of viewing music should I use?
Score Exchange has two methods to display previews of music: seView which uses regular html and javascipt and the Scorch plug-in from Avid which needs to be downloaded and installed onto your computer. Both have advantages and disadvantages:
You do not need to install any additional software to use seView.
Scorch is a free plug-in from Avid for displaying and printing music. It can also play the music that you're seeing. As modern web browsers are updated, Scorch is no longer compatible with many browsers. Scorch has never been compatible with mobile devices and some web browsers on Mac computers.
If your web browser does not install Scorch automatically, you can click here to download and install scorch manually.
