Don't you dare spying (A Sith doesn't do that)
After writing the Overture, I set out to create a piece with a completely different character while using the same themes. After a while I noticed that I was trying to force 2 pieces into one: It simply didn't work. So I separated them and here is the result: A hilarious tour de force through the "Sith" universe. The other one is still in the works.
Musically I decided that it's time to stop imitating an other composer, so this one is more in my own style. Its based on a variation of the "funny" Sith theme and begins in a more descriptive fashion. After about 2 minutes it segues into a driving rythm and a 3-note motiv is introduced. The rest of the piece consists of mingled variations and juxtapositions of that theme with previously introduced material. Comparing it to the "Overture", you will notice that this one is very rich in different harmonies, while the Overture was based strictly on 3rds, 4ths and 5ths and harmonic progressions which result from those.
Please try to avoid the Scorch playback. Somehow it sounds very messed up, recently. Try the mp3, which was recorded with a very good Soundfont (500Mb!). It's really worth the 6Mb download!
