P.I. Tchaikovsky (1840-93) was a Russian composer of the late romantic era. He employed a wide stylistic range across his works, from charming salon works to grand symphonies.

This version of Tchaikovsky’s "Old French Song" Op.39, no.16 for piano has been adapted and arranged to be performed as a bass duet. It is of a beginner/intermediate level and can be used as a good exercise in practising the minor scale, double stopping, and collaborative listening.
