This light-hearted piece (for me anyway) was written for an open call for pieces. There are three sections, with all of the material being based on the opening violin riff. The piece is in a simple arch form (ABCBA) with each of the instruments taking a turn with the riff. The title comes from a pupils response when I was trying to explain what a riff is - they thought I said Riffle so the title for this piece was born!
