The three movements are dedicated to three friends whose musicianship, good company and sense of humour have been a source of continuing pleasure: Alan Hilton, Bernard Hughes and Tim Ellis.
The attached mp3 file is taken from a live recording of the concert - complete with some background traffic noise! My thanks to the Fourth Dimension String Quartet for their permission to use this recording.
