Sonata for Solo Cello was written for a friend of mine when I study at Mercyhurst College. I feel this shows off the solo cello very well.
Also a side note: The play back on sibeliusmusic.com does not give this peice justice. Starting at the second repeat it should be arco and also a lot faster in tempo.
