Note that this arrangement is notated with "swing eighths," so each pair of eighth notes is played as if it were an eighth-note triplet, with the first eighth note getting 2/3 of the time allotted to the triplet. This song is good practice for working on hand independence and playing simple but effective bluesy gospel piano. Work on each hand independently and concentrate on making the left hand anchor the song with a solid beat as a bass player does.
