Valse-Fantasie pour Violon et Orchestre
I write little that is not derivative, and indeed prefer good pastiche to bad originality. This is a homage to late nineteenth century lollipop pieces for soloists and orchestra. It is not profound, but I hope you will find it gently enjoyable. If you need a mental image, it is a reflection of winter and you should imagine skating, softly falling snow and warm mulled wine.
