Composed for the Funeral Service of Ian Kenneth Anthony Warren (05.10.1941- 10.03.1959. )He was hit above the heart by a hockey ball in a School match. His Funeral at the Royal Masonic School, Bushey, Hertfordshire in the Chapel of Saint Saint Alban and sung by the Chapel Choir. The Trumpets played from the Organ Loft. The Headmaste H. G. Mullens asked Graham to compose a Nunc Dimittis specifically asking for trumpets at the text 'To be a light…" This Nunc Dimittis can be access on the website SCORE EXCHANGE and it has been taken up by other Choirs. The Organist of Manchester Cathedral Chris Stokes, who remembers sing in at its first prerformance, is reviving it in 2017.
