This piece started as a repository for trying out (essaying) various orchestrations. As implied by the title it is a piece of sheer exuberance of the sort rarely heard in any but traditional, diatonic style. I made no concession to orchestral economics but used whatever resource sounded good. I would like to acknowledge a debt to composers such as John Hughes and Jay Gach whose expertise I admire and entertainment styles I have tried to emulate. Nov.'06: the MP3, now available, uses Garritan P.O. and the score had to be slightly modified to enable an uninterrupted performance, but I have not posted the amended version.
