This is a hauntingly beautiful song, orriginaly written by Saint Jean de Br?beuf, who was a Jesuit missionary in Quebec from 1625-1649. This song has been arranged in typical a cappella quartet style, with the melody in the second Tenor part. From bar 38 to the end the first Tenor should be sung predominantly in falsetto to avoid dominating the melody.
