Saxophone quartet, SATB or optional AATB. A slow-down, feel-good piece that really changes the pace. It makes you want to reach back for those days of long ago when the sun was warm, your feet were bare, and you sat by the creek with a fishing pole in your hands. Of course, you didn't really do that, as a section in the middle reminds you with hurry-up thoughts of today's world. But don't worry, laziness triumphs in the end. It's a taste of pure fun.

Other sax quartets by this composer: Minor Disturbance, Purple Melody, Red Rhythm, Yellow Jazz and What Might Have Been. To see what Paul Abbott can do with a Big Band, check out AllOver the Place and The Dancing Plumber.
