Greensleeves Fantasia is a modern interpretation of the popular mediavel song, also used by Shakespeare in Lady Greensleeves. It was composed as a project done for the College jointly with Gian Paul Gauci. You may also view his own interpretation here: http://www.scoreexchange.com/scores/25333.html . Difficulties: very difficult double-stops, some awkward rhythms (especially for synchronization), and some fast passages for the piano. There is a space for the pianist to play an improvized solo. The following bars may be integrated into the improvise' by the performers. First performed at the Junior University (College) of Malta, Gian Paul at the violin and myself as pianist.
