Petrucci published Harmonice Musices Odhecaton A five hundred years ago in 1501. It contained nearly 100 pieces, trios and quartets, by leading composers of the day and was the first music printed using movable type. This selection of quartets is set for recorders, but other instruments or voices may be used. The given musica ficta are suggestions only. The score is suitable for playing from. Which method of viewing music should I use?

Scorch is a free plug-in from Avid for displaying and printing music. It can also play the music that you're seeing. As modern web browsers are updated, Scorch is no longer compatible with many browsers. Scorch has never been compatible with mobile devices and some web browsers on Mac computers.
