The composers agreed to keep the violin writing to 1st position. A mini concert was held in Devon at McAvoy's house - the composer violin and friend McAvoy piano, when the pieces were declared playable. The piece was also arranged for Violin and Piano left hand only, so that McAvoy's wife,Lynne, who had lost the use of her right hand, could participate.
