Scene 3a - Geoff

Geoff, Jason, Gary, Nathan and Lee are at a strip club. Geoff is looking for it's proprietor - Clive, but is frustrated by a sarcastic Brummie barmaid - Trudy. In a recitative blonde dancer Vicky recognises Geoff and gives him a run down of the new people working there, much to Geoff's indifference. She tries on Geoff's sunglasses ("I got a pair like these free at MacDoanlds once") and suggests that Geoff looks like "that bloke off Top Gun, "John Craven" suggests Trudy. Geoff tries to correct her in (spot the quotes from the theme from the film Top Gun and John Craven's Newsround!). Eventually Geoff establishes that Clive isn't in. Geoff is bowled over by the appearance of a new dancer Sharon. The lads bet Geoff that he can't get Sharon into bed that night. Somewhat foolishly Geoff accepts this challenge.

Scene 3b - Geoff meets Sharon

Lounge like music plays in the background as Geoff tries to chat up Sharon. Sharon is completely unimpressed but on recognising his name the music slows and she mysteriously changes tact. The music speeds up as Sharon invites Geoff and the lads to a club with her mates rather than going to the school reunion. The music anticipates themes from the reunion and club scenes with Geoff's theme in the bass and Liz's song's chorus repeated backwards over the top. Geoff is chuffed at the prospect.

"I'll see you later"

In Geoff's imagination Sharon sings him a seductive jazz number - 'I'll see you later' based on Geoff's clich?d blues theme.

Which method of viewing music should I use?

Score Exchange has two methods to display previews of music: seView which uses regular html and javascipt and the Scorch plug-in from Avid which needs to be downloaded and installed onto your computer. Both have advantages and disadvantages:

seView, is the most compatible option. You should be able to view music on all modern web browsers including most mobile devices. Even if your device does not support javascript you should still be able to preview at least page one of the music.

You do not need to install any additional software to use seView.

Scorch is a free plug-in from Avid for displaying and printing music. It can also play the music that you're seeing. As modern web browsers are updated, Scorch is no longer compatible with many browsers. Scorch has never been compatible with mobile devices and some web browsers on Mac computers.

If your web browser does not install Scorch automatically, you can click here to download and install scorch manually.
