This is the first of the opus 5 flute quartets that Haydn composed in about 1766 which were published by Hummel in Amsterdam in 1767, twenty years before Mozart's. This is an arrangement for flute & piano which can be used for study purposes or performed as a concert item. There are 4 movements: Allegro assai, Adagio, Menuet & Trio & Presto.
