This is what I had composed in 1970 for piano, but with orchestration in mind, which I had noted in the handwritten score, in which also appear remarks by the Mexican composer Mario Kuri Aldana, whose idea are the violoncellos accompanied by the other string instruments with sordini in bars 176-185 of the orchestra score. I took advantage of the repetitions in the piano version to orchestrate them in a different manner.
