DSCH, Op.118 (1999) an antiphone for two players is based just on 4 notes: D, Es (E-flat), C and H (B-natural) - a monogram of Dmitry Shostakovich, to whom this piece is dedicated. Originally was written as a piece for two violins. Later it was recomposed for two celli.
