The modern solo piano piece “Unjustified Hopes” reflects the naive credulity of a girl, dreaming about her future full of hope and optimism. However, reality catches up with her in the course of the composition, which leads to a depressed and rather desperate mood at first. Nevertheless, she refuses to let this discourage her. Instead, she begins to realize that she has to fight for her dreams. A strong personality and powerful attitude develop over time so that her old naivety appears to be nothing but a flimsily shadow in her memory at the end of the piece.

When starting to compose this piece, the hopeful atmosphere it creates was the first thing I noticed while composing. Therefore, the story about the girl arose instinctively, which was a pleasure to follow during the finalization of the piece.

About me: I’m Lisa-Maria, 22 years old, living in Bavaria, Germany. When I was five, I started playing the piano, which shortly afterwards became my passion and continued to be till now. As I played the piano intuitively and by ear most of the time, I loved to create own compositions very soon. In 2019, I released my first album “Powerful Piano” with a collection of piano compositions from 2013 to 2019.
