Flourishes, Sennets and Tuckets are all types of fanfare used by William Shakespeare in his plays to announce the arrival of notable personages or as musical interludes. If played as a suite with its companion pieces I suggest the order "Tintern Tuckets", "Scotney Sennets" and then "Fountains Flourish".

Scotney Castle dates from the 12th Century and was originally a fortified country house, but its sole remaining turret springs out of a lake with picturesque surrounding gardens, making it an oasis of calm is this busy part of England.
