This is a piece written for two pianos. I began by using quite constraining musical techniques to govern the music but soon allowed the dramatic nature of the material and the dialogue between the two pianos take over. The end result I feel is highly charged and extremely evocative. The MP3 recording is a live performance and essential listening if you would like to hear how the dialogue between the two pianos truely works.
