From the preface: … Our new arrangement for flute, which is more in line with the original version for violin than the flute versions by Camus and Drouet, is based on the score of an undated (violin) edition by the publisher "C. C. Lose, Copenhagen" with plate number 1880, which is marked with the ownership stamp of the Royal Library Copenhagen. The score has been carefully modernized.
