The famous Trumpet Tune in D by Jeremiah Clarke (also incorrectly attributed to Henry Purcell) was taken from the semi-opera The Island Princess (1699), which was a joint musical production of Clarke and Daniel Purcell (Henry Purcell's younger brother or cousin)—probably leading to the confusion.[Wikipedia]
Here it has been arranged for a Brass Quartet in the lower key of G for two trumpets, French Horn and Euphonium/Trombone BC or TC. There is also an optional Piano/Organ part (chorded) not shown on the score.
