Extensive scholarly study revels that at exactly 10:00 AM during the summer of 1877, P.I. Tchaikovsky decided to poison himself by eating some funny mushrooms. The attempt was only partially successful and left Peter's brain in tatters. Recovery was slow but by 2:30 that afternoon, some of his faculties had returned.
This piece is what Tchaikovsky might have written during that four and one-half hour period when his imaginative and congnitive powers were on the fritz.
