Waiting For You is a choral inspired song written initially for the Male Chorus of the Historic Mt. Zion AME Church of Jacksonville FL. I wrote this song simply as a departure from the norm, or as a means of breaking away from the status que. Traditional male Chorus's tend to lock onto the familiar tunes such as This Little Light Of Mine, and Lilly In The Valley. Waiting For You is designed to take full advantage of the male vocal ranges, and to elevate male chorus's out of the muck and the mire of tradition and into a more challanging realm of vocalization.
