This short, reflective work was composed for the funeral of Nicholas Stone. He was killed in a car accident. Nicholas was the brother of my dear friend, Amanda, and after his death, she asked if I would write something for her to perform at the ceremony. This piece is my gift to the family, to honor and remember Nicholas, and to thank them for their support and everything that they have done for me over the years.
