When my son was about 2 years old, I was giving him a bath in the big bath tub. I was wringing out the washcloth and starting singing about squishing the water out of it. Then, "fish" ryhmes with "squish" and there we go! A little bath-time tune.
Imagine squishing a little fish into a snackable fish stick, taking him down to the seashore, and tossing him in. He returns into a little fish and swims away so he'll never be a snack again.
This little ditty is for kids 7 and under to sing along and is easy to play for beginning/intermediate. Hand motions can easily be incorporated for action in a group setting such as daycare or kindergarten. Enjoy!
As I do not have quality electronic equipment, you will find this audio recording has a mechanical and regimented sound. It originated from Sibelius and was converted to MP3 via Zamzar having some degradation. You will be able to provide far more dynamics and interpretation as you play on the piano in real life.
