This composition (for three trumpets soloist and brassband) is dedicated to the memory of three young trumpeters (Fabio, Attilio and Claudio), students of the author and prematurely disappeared.
The author is inspired by the myth of Orpheus: the brassband descends into the underworld in search of the three boys, they respond with the sound of their trumpet, then materialize and together they perform a short trio and then again move away. In the final they respond again in chorus to yhe calls of the brassband and they remain silent forever.
